Dr. Todd Daniels is in the quality-of-life business. As a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist, he partners with patients to evaluate their condition and generate a unique treatment plan to help get them back to doing the things they love to do. Specializing in non-surgical treatment of back and neck pain, Dr. Daniels always begins with the most conservative treatment options available.

STEM CELL INJECTIONS

Stem Cells are a type of cell found in your body with the potential
to grow into anything from muscle fibers to brain cells to skin cells. After obtaining the patient’s own stem cells, Dr. Daniels centrifuges them down to identify and separate specific primitive cells which can be injected into a painful area to stimulate regeneration and healing, without surgery.

PRP (PLATELET-RICH PLASMA) INJECTIONS

Platelet-rich plasma is a concentration of platelets and growth factors created from a small amount of the patient’s own blood or bone marrow. The sample is put through a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets and other beneficial growth factors from the blood. Next, Dr. Daniel injects this platelet-rich plasma into the painful area for a long- lasting, even permanent non-surgical solution.

EPIDURAL INJECTIONS

Many different spinal issues can cause pain, including vertebral disc disease, nerve impingement, joint arthritis, and spinal stenosis. An epidural injection is an interventional procedure done to reduce pain and inflammation in the spine.

Dr. Daniels employs fluoroscopic guidance to position a needle in the epidural space, confirming placement with contrast dye, to ensure medications are in the proper location to relieve pain. Once the needle position is verified, safe, effective medication such as steroids and local anesthetics can be injected, to reduce inflammation which in turn reduces pain.
